Chris “CJ” Johnson Foundation

The Chris “CJ” Jonson Foundation’s mission is to be a global community dedicated to creating awareness and alleviating healthcare disparities for individuals diagnosed with renal medullary carcinoma (RMC) through advocacy, education and research. Ultimately, all persons affected with RMC will have equal access to institutions that are leaders in cutting-edge research.

Chromophobe and Oncocytic Tumor Alliance

The Chromophobe and Oncocytic Tumor Alliance’s mission is to fund research that aims to identify biological hallmarks of ChRCC to deepen learnings across institutions and to support efforts that aim to identify and test distinct therapeutic approaches. Additionally, we aim to promote collaboration, create resources for those affected by the disease and to advance the understanding of ChRCC through the dissemination of knowledge and research.

Partnerships

The KCA collaborates with various organizations throughout the year to help elevate the voices of cancer patients, caregivers, and family members. Through our partnerships, we work together to learn from other organizations and amplify our shared desires and concerns.

American Brain Tumor Association

The mission of the American Brain Tumor Association is to advance the understanding and treatment of brain tumors with the goals of improving, extending and, ultimately, saving the lives of those impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis.


Cancer and Careers

Cancer and Careers is a national nonprofit that empowers and educates people with cancer to thrive in their workplace, by providing expert advice, interactive tools and educational events. Its free services include a comprehensive website and library of publications in English and Spanish; legal and insurance information; career coaching; resume review; technology assistance grants; and events for people with cancer and their healthcare providers, coworkers and employers.


Caregiver Action Network

Caregiver Action Network (CAN) is the nation’s leading family caregiver organization working to improve the quality of life for the more than 90 million Americans who care for loved ones with chronic conditions, disabilities, disease, or the frailties of old age. CAN serves a broad spectrum of family caregivers ranging from the parents of children with significant health needs, to the families and friends of wounded soldiers; from a young couple dealing with a diagnosis of MS, to adult children caring for parents with Alzheimer’s disease.


Imerman Angels

The mission of Imerman Angels is to provide comfort and understanding for all cancer fighters, survivors, previvors and caregivers through a personalized, one-on-one connection with someone who has been there.


Patient Empowerment Network

The Patient Empowerment Network (PEN) mission is to fortify cancer patients and care partners with the knowledge and tools to boost their confidence, put them control of their healthcare journey, and assist them in receiving the best, most personalized care available to ensure they have the best possible outcome.


Sick Cells

Sick Cells is a sickle cell disease (SCD) advocacy nonprofit founded February 28, 2017. Sick Cells’ mission is to elevate the voices of the SCD community and their stories of resilience. In highlighting the grave disparities this community faces, we hope to influence decision‐makers and propel change.
